St. Malachy School - Special Guest Day Mass

Because we are unable to host a traditional in-person Special Guest Day, students are asked to invite special guests to attend Mass remotely.

All students, grades K-6, will attend this Mass in-person, distanced 3 feet apart, and seated with their grade level class. 

Students will also participate in various activities throughout the school day to celebrate and honor their special guests, such as writing notes of appreciation.
Father Gifford will teach each grade level about Adoration, at which time students will have the opportunity to offer prayers for their special guests.

The Scholastic Book Fair is from April 26-30. Students will attend the book fair in-person during their library class.

Unfortunately, parents and Special Guests can’t shop the Book Fair this year!  Here is a way that they can still build your child’s home library!

• Go to Book Fair homepage:  https://www.scholastic.com/bf/stmalachyschool2
• Scroll down to the eWallet section and click on GET STARTED
• The Book Fair eWallet page appears. Next click on GO to eWallet 
• Create an eWallet account and fund with your desired amount
  • Be sure to fill in the Teacher Name as this will make it faster at checkout
• Once you have created your eWallet – share it with your friends and family that will want your child to build their home library.  
  • The option to share will come up automatically and you can copy and paste the unique URL into an email or social media post.
• Now it's time to shop at the book fair!!  (you can also use the eWallet to shop online-see below)
• If using eWallet on the online fair:
  • Add the titles you want to the cart. 
  • Select eWallet as payment. 

Enter the amount you are using and continue to checkout.  Make sure to do this before our Fair ends on 4/30/2021 at Midnight Eastern Time so the school gets 25% back!
