Liturgy
The Liturgy Committee oversees the liturgy-planning process throughout the year for the parish, giving direction to the Seasonal Planning Teams. The members of the Liturgy Committee play an advisory role to the pastor and assist him by promoting good liturgy, prayer in the parish, and training the liturgical ministers. The committee is responsible for liturgical planning of the environment, music and ritual movement or gestures associated with the particular season, feast or sacrament.

Divorced, Separated and Widowed Ministry
Divorce Care  invites individuals, regardless of how long they have been divorced or separated, to a 13-week Divorce Care Support group. These sessions will last about 90 minutes each and will feature a weekly video program and discussion. Each week’s program will be a different topic so if someone can not attend every one of them, that is okay. Some of the topics discussed will be your relationship with God and His Church, anger, depression, loneliness, sexuality, forgiveness, and reconciliation.  We have found these topics are very beneficial in the healing process.  No one will be required to speak or share at these sessions if they choose not to do so.

Women at the Well
This ministry was organized to provide an evening of fellowship, as well as to have the women be educated, entertained and inspired by various speakers on diverse topics. There is also a delicious meal served by the men of the parish.

The goal of the committee is to simply present an enjoyable, faith filled evening for the women of St Malachy Parish and the community.

A wonderful outcome that has sprung from our events is the purchasing of wells in Nigeria. At each event the ladies are asked, if they wish, to donate money towards the purchase of a well. These wells provide life saving clean water to villages. Our donations are sent to The Dominican Sisters of Peace who work in conjunction with Hope For The Village Child which oversees the digging of the wells. As of March 2020, we have raised enough to have 18 wells dug. This ministry has been a blessing to so many.

We were created to address the needs of the Catholic fraternal society offering insurance support to families in times of loss. Seven Sisters Apostolate
Seven Sisters is a group of women who pray for our pastor and parochial vicar. We are a chapter of Seven Sisters, Apostolate started by Janette How in 2011, in St. Paul, Minnesota. There are over 1,500 praying groups nationwide, with groups also abroad. Each member offers a holy hour one day a week before the Blessed Sacrament, with a one-year commitment. Seven Sisters has one annual meeting in which members reconsecrate or withdraw.
