AdvancED Accreditation

St. Malachy Catholic School is fully accredited by AdvanceED which is the world's largest education community, representing public and private schools and districts worldwide. Accreditation is a voluntary process by which an institution commits to a systematic process of school improvement through self-study and periodic evaluations from external educational professionals. The AdvancED accreditation process validates the school's compliance to standards that promote quality schools and continuous improvement toward enhanced student achievement.

All elementary and secondary schools in the Diocese of Peoria are recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education.

Schools with NCA in their listing are also accredited by the North Central Association on Accreditation and School Improvement [NCA CASI], an accreditation division of AdvanceED. Founded in 1895, NCA CASI accredits public and private schools and districts in 19 states, the Navajo Nation, and the Department of Defense Schools worldwide. AdvancdED is the parent organization for the North Central Association Commission of Accreditation and School Improvements, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvements, and National Study of School Evaluation.
