Mark your calendar for a Family to Family class that will start on August 30 from 6-8:30 p.m.  NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 12-session education program for family members of adults living with mental illness.  The course is designed to help all family members understand and support their loved one with mental illness while maintaining their own well-being.  The course includes information on illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression and others.  This NAMI Family-to Family will be taught by Deacon Robert O'Rourke and Cathie Stinson who know what it is like to have a loved one with mental illness.  The course will be held here at St. Malachy's.  Call the NAMI office to register:  563-322-8870.
