Members of JustFaith at St. Malachy’s will be sponsoring a Fair Trade Event on October 18thh and 19th again in the Narthex after all Masses. Catholic Relief Services Fair Trade program is based on the principle that crafters and growers earn a fair wage and profit for the items they produce. Items to be sold include high quality, beautiful hand crafts as well as coffees and chocolate.
Jessica Bries joins the event this year adding Noonday Collection, which offers fashion accessories for you and your home handcrafted by artisans from around the world that receive a living wage for their work. Proceeds from her sale will help place orphans in forever families. The Bries’ are one of these families.
We will have a good assortment of items to purchase, but you may also order from the catalogs that will be available. If you wish to organize your order from the catalog prior to the sale, catalogs will be available with order sheets in the narthex. You may leave your order and money with the office. Or you can go online at www.crsfairtrade.org to view the full catalog and bring a list of items to our sale and we will include your order with ours.

Fair Trade coffee, tea and chocolate bars will be available for purchase that day. Payment will be due at the time of ordering.
